Unlike my last stay at a different hotel, debrett was great with its quirky decor and spacious classic room. The staff were friendly, and the shower was refreshing after a long day.

The hotel DeBrett is a boutique hotel for those who apreciate the art of well being during a city journey. It's central and w'ont disapoint in its acomodation nor in the hotel services. The restaurant is located in a beautiful saloon, with gourmet food tendencies, and is decorated in a kind of art deco. It's quiet and confortable. We have stayed for two days, in August 2011.I would recomend this hotel to my best friends.

Everything was very good, very diligent staff, magnificent location really close to the centre of Auckland close to the ferry piers, Viaduct area and local transport hub, waterfront restaurants, shops galore, ferry and train terminals, and Auckland waterfront and CBD. Stylish & wonderfully appointed unit with the master bedroom, deep bath, as for instance. Delicious and sensational breakfast, a good choice of food and beverages.

Very stylish & comfortable hotel, located in great downtown environment. Fantastic beds and nice mid-century vibe
Staff were a little too laid back and slow "we'll get to you when we get to you".

The boutique hotel is located in a prime area. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the room was spotless with a super comfy bed. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, making our night uncomfortable, and the breakfast options were lacking.

We had booked a room with breakfast. We were told a breakfast includes yogurt, cereal, fruit and bread. Everything else can only be obtained at extra cost. We think it's a scam.

A hidden gem near the action
The hotel offered a lovely retro vibe with a really good breakfast that energized our mornings. I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and enjoyed the bustling atmosphere nearby.
The parking situation outside was quite a challenge due to the narrow streets. We encountered an odd odor in our split-level suite that was a bit unsettling.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The loft room we had was very good. We liked meeting the other guests at the 6:30 pm free drink.
The breakfast was pretty weak. I do not drink coffee or tea so I had to pay $4.50 each morning for my diet coke.

Truly excellent small designer hotel right in the heart of Auckland, within metres of the main airport bus route, and close to the renovated dockland area. Friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, and a superb restaurant cleverly situated in the old courtyard. Added to that two lively bars, one situated on the street corner, and plenty of other cafes, restaurants and clubs on offer. Great hotel and look forward to staying there again.
